What am I doing wrong? I start the recording in Mythfrontend presses m then edit recording presses z to load current cutlist. then I edit the recording. After that I am pressing Esc to exit Mythfrontend. Then from terminal I run mythcommflag --gencutlist -f <inputfile.mpg>. After that I run mythtranscode --showprogress --honorcutlist --mpeg2 -c xxxx -s <inputfile.mpg> -o < outputfile.mpg>.
It's the same result everytime. The playback doesn't start from the beginning of the recording and the cutlist is the first non-edited one. It seems like it doesnt create a new cutlist. How to do that?

OK. Has it something to do with "protected material"? I did a recording of the next episode and I'm having exact same problem with that one. It generates a cutlist that jumps to 4% from the beginning of the the show. Am I right that it is a copyprotection-thing?

My problem is that I cannot edit the cutlist. I have tried to use --clearcutlist and create a new one but it gives me the same result. Start from 4%. When I open the rec and choose edit recording I have the old one.

In Mythfrontend I start the recorded file presses E then Z. I edit the cuts and leaves the program with E. After that I run mythcommflag --gencutlist -f <infile.mpg> . Then I run mythtranscode. The result is a file with the original cuts.

i can edit my cutlist and have succeeded to transcode my file within mythfrontend. It's solved in a way but I would still like to be able to do it from commandline. Thanks for now. I will propably be back if I can find a HOWTO for commandline editing. Thats fun to use the CLI.
