Is there a place where i can get a cups 1.3.x version? my printer does not work with 1.4.x

sirusb that won't work because cups 1.3.11 is built against old libraries that are no longer installed. You can get the pkgbuild from the SVN, you'd have to look at the history and grab the old pkgbuild of course.

However, try my package cups-usblp 1.4.2. It uses the usblp module like cups 1.3. That is how I got my printer to work. http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=35029

It worked until 1.4 so you could imagine that i installed my drivers correctly
