{solved] Plasma theme & no transparency

Hi again
Effects are enabled and work fine, video card is recognized and generally the system has no graphic-related issues ...but transparent plasma themes have no transparency. Any idea?   
On this machine I had Fedora 12 with the same configuration of  Kde and I don't remember any problem so I think it can be related with my /xorg.conf

just solved it myself changing all depth values =32
really I can't understand why I had no problems with effects, window decorators and so on but only with plasma theme
