File transfer between my laptop and a Samsung cellphone.

Hi, I'm having an issue with Samsung GT-B3310 cellphone. I connected it to my laptop with a usb cable, but no filesystem is mounted like is usually the case with usb storage systems.. Also, gtkam which uses gphone2 doesn't detect anything.

Here's some info:

Maybe I could mount it manually, but how?

Re: File transfer between my laptop and a Samsung cellphone.

Can't be sure, as I have a Nokia, but I have to unload the cdc-acm driver after plugging in the phone, if I want to use it as a usb storage device. Blacklisting cdc-acm would work either.

OBEX file transfer might work either, if your phone supports it. obexftp and obexfs are in the repos, and if you're using a DE, you may have guis for this kind of operation.
