[SOLVED] Unable to delete files from external USB drive

I've just done a fresh install of Arch on a laptop and was copying files back from an external USB drive which I had backed up.

However, I am unable to now delete those files from the drive - even as root.

It's mounted as my user, with the files mounted with rwx------ permissions.

This doesn't seem normal to me hmm

Edit: Just unmounted and mounted again, and this time it's mounted with r-x------ permissions...  confused :-S

Any ideas as to what is going on here??  I've probably missed something simple...

Running kde4 BTW!

Re: [SOLVED] Unable to delete files from external USB drive

I forgot to install ntfs-3g which I had used on the previous install - just in case anybody else has had this problem.
