cpupowerd wtih AMD K10 CPUs
Hi,
does anybody know if cpupowerd works with AMD K10 CPUs?
(especially Athlon II X2 250 and 240/240e)
Or if the powernow-k8 modul in general supports CnQ for these CPUs?

I have Phenom II 550BE and cpufrequtils with powernow-k8 module works.

I can confirm that on a Phenom II X4 cpu frequency scaling (in my case, cpufreq_ondemand) is working via powernow-k8

I have cpufrequtils working using the powernow-k8 driver on a Biostar A760M2+ with a Athlon II 245. Goes down to 800MHz.
I don't know about the voltage unfortunatly. Haven't tried sensors yet, I think i'll wait with those until the next kernel update, 2.6.33 is in the testing repository now so it wont be long...

I'm using powernow-k8 on a Turion 64 X2. Works fine, I have stepping from 500mhz to 1ghz to 2ghz.

I think people are missing a point here. There is a big difference between cpupowrd and other programs you are naming here.
One would use cpupowerd because it allows undervolting the cpu, which is a HUGE thing.

As far as I know powernow-k8 already changes the cpu voltage as it scales the frequency. Undervolting the cpu can lead to instability and should not be done automagically, but if you want to do it try phc-k8 from the AUR.
