I have two monitors: my main 22" and a secondary 19".
Using `sudo nvidia-settings`, I can't seem to enable TwinView. Going to "Configure", the only option that isn't disabled is "Separate X Screen".
Can anyone help? Both monitors are attached, but only one is showing anything.

I already tried that, and I think you're talking about `nvidia-xconfig --twinview` and not `nvidia-settings --twinview`.
But that still didn't work for me.
I did manage to figure it out though. I had to switch the ports. My secondary monitor had to be in the first ("primary") port off the GFX card, and the main one had to be in the second one. This allowed both screens to become active, and I was able to configure it thereafter.
I'm gonna fiddle around with it some more because my Windows 7 partition will thing the small secondary monitor is the main monitor with it in the first port, and I can't have that.
Thanks for the help.
EDIT: k, well the monitors are configured correctly now, but now my WINE games don't go to fullscreen. it now has a KDE border around it.
I run the game via `wine explorer /desktop=GAME,1680x1050 "PATH_TO_EXE"`. I play it in a virtual desktop because otherwise the game crashes when alt-tabbing. It's this virtual desktop that doesn't go fullscreen.
Anyone experience this? How can I fix it? I can easily Alt+F3 and select full screen, which solves it, but it'd be sexier it it did it automagically like it used to.
EDIT#2: I just tried to run the game in fullscreen without the virtual desktop, and it treats both monitors as one, so i pretty much have to use the virtual desktop.

smakked: I had this problem not too long ago - You'll need to adjust the metamode that nvidia-settings generates. I'm not 100% on how X interpretes them but google has quite a few posts on the matter.

Perhaps this wiki entry can help you, it describes the problem you are having with treating both monitors as one.
