[SOLVED] User added to group but privileges not granted?
Hi everyone,
I just installed Arch, and after some trouble most things are running perfectly now.
Two problems remain:
The "normal" user can neither access Shutdown/Reboot/Standy/... (via CLI and GUI) nor mount any USB drives.
Both tasks are perfectly possible when logged in as root. The user has been added to 'storage' and 'power" during installation and is still shown to be a member of these groups ('id').
Another newly created user has the same issues, privileges seem to be root-only.
