Sager NP8760 Laptop

Hi Folks,
Long time no post smile
I'm buying a new laptop and it's been so long since I've had problems with linux
and hardware that I didn't think much of it....I ordered this laptop today,Sager NP8760,
and then noticed people on xoticpc's forum complaining of linux drivers.... I don't know
if they are just unfamiliar with linux or not - most are MS users and purchase their laptops
for gaming mostly.
Does anyone have this laptop and were you able to get things working, touchpad, sound, etc.......
I've been away from the forum for a long while I hope I find everyone doing well smile

Take Care,
McRae

Re: Sager NP8760 Laptop

I haven't used a Sager in a while but the one I had was the most linux compatible laptop (if you could really call it that) I ever had up to that point.  This was 6 or 7 years ago when it was harder to get linux working well on a laptop.  That thing was pretty much a desktop machine stuffed in a somewhat large laptop case.
