Hey. I have Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio card (PCI bridge: Creative Labs [SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio] CA0110-IBG PCI to PCIe) but cannot receive sound from it.
I installed ALSA during the instalation and tried to configure it but got no sound. i also have a ATI Radeon card Whit HDMI, this card is in the ALSA mixer to.
Is there anything else I need to install/configure to get this working?

I don't have any other sound devices showing up from other cards on mine. The debian x-fi wiki has some clues, but it didn't work for me, and the ALSA 1.0.22 didn't solve it, either.
snd-hda-intel (CA0110 chipset)
* X-Fi Xtreme Audio (PCI-E)
snd-hda-intel
The following list is based on the alias fields of modinfo snd-hda-intel built from alsa-driver 1.0.21, with non-Creative devices removed:

Is there any update on this ?
I looked around a bit and found out a lot of people are experiencing this issue with CA-0110 based cards.
Personally, I can't get any sound from my Auzentech Bravura. I know the latest ALSA version is supposed to provide support for this chip so i'm left wondering if this might be a board-specific issue.

I eventually loaded Win 7 with the card installed and verified that the card itself worked fine. I never did find a way to make it work with any linux distro.
