Today I tried installing akregator and kalarm and I got the following error for both:

Any ideas? Is it something I did wrong?

No.... openssh is trying to install /etc/rc.d/sshd which is already on your system for some reason. Do a "pacman -Qo /etc/rc.d/sshd" to see if any package owns that file. Otherwise, it is safe to move/delete.
