local mirror?

I have more than one computer with Arch Linux. Seems wasteful to download the same patches more than once. There any automatic, official way to download packages from another machine on the local network, ideally one that was just updated? I suppose I could do it by hand, eg "rsync -az 192.168.1.65:/var/cache/pacman/pkg /var/cache/pacman/", but be nice if that could be added to pacman, perhaps as a "local mirror".
