Hi people!
I've installed ArchLinux on my new Gateway ID58-series laptop (http://support.gateway.com/s/notebook/2 … 58nv.shtml), overaall it works great, but I have an annoying issue that is driving me nuts.
The laptop has some ultra-sensible hotkeys that perform actions like volume up/down, cpu governor, wireless toggling, and one that toggles the touchpad, turning it on/off.
Some of those keys are well mapped, others not, I really don't care, but the problem is those keys are so frikkin sensitive, I touch'em constantly by accident.
The main problem is the Touchpad toggle key, on windows it does works as expected, disabling/enabling the touchpad. But on Arch, it DOES DISABLE IT, but it doesn't ENABLE IT BACK !!!!
I have to reboot my system when that happens and it's pretty annoying, I thinks it works in hardware level, but I don't know why it's unable to turn it on again. I've tried many keycodes with no luck:
#/etc/rc.local
setkeycodes e071 230
setkeycodes eo72 231
Any ideas ??? Thanks!
