Just to let you know that exiv2 similarily to libpng and libjpeg breaks apps.
You probably know this already anyway. Meaning that things like gwenview and similar stuff will have to be rebuilt before exiv2 is put into stable repo.
(But if I use testing the least I can do is point out this kind of problems)

gwenview and other kde apps are in testing too. you didn't say what version of packages you got on those issued in here.
note that if you use kdemod, is their problem not ours.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

His signature indicates that he does in fact use KDEmod.

Yes I use kdemod. I've already posted this on KDEmod forums link: http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic.php?id=2444 .
So this isn't the problem from Arch KDE users? OH OK.
Given that I use testing and KDEmod, how much problems with testing can I expect that are linked with KDE and are problems with Arches KDE?
Just so I know if I should post problems with this to Chakra forums only or should I also write few of those here.
example: Currently my Amarok isn't working correctly I'm using a testing version of ti. I don't know is this a testing issue or KDEmod issue?

Simple: if you have problems with qt or KDE apps when using kdemod, report it to Chakra first.

From the chakra website:
We usually dont build against Archs [testing] repository, but updated packages may appear in our testing repository. However, dont count on that. If you have the competence to run [testing], you should also be able to solve upcoming problems for yourself.
want a modular and tweaked KDE for arch? try kdemod
