I installed Arch Linux on my netbook last night but now I need a window manager. I am looking for one that will open every window in full screen mode. The only applications I will run on my netbook are terminal windows, Feh, and Firefox (or maybe Chrome or Uzbl).
Thank you in advance.
EDIT: I'm listing this as solved, but if anyone else has a suggestion, please don't hesitate to make one.

Musca.
I was under the impression that Musca was just a tiling window manager, like Dwm. Is that wrong?

It is. But it can open every window full-screen (a la Ratpoison -- manual tiling), and you can set a key combination to alternate between them.
Also, if you start splitting, you can have a bunch of windows stacked on each pane and alternate between them with your shortcut.

Any other tiling window manager will work.

The reason I didn't initially consider a tiling WM is that when you start an extra window, it splits the screen up into sections, which I don't want on a 1024x600 screen.
Looking around the forums, it would seem that Lich's Bare Window Manager would do what I want as well, although I can't tell if it is even being worked on anymore. Evidently, Dwm has a "monocle" mode that will do this, and Ratpoison and Musca can do it as well.
Guess I have some downloading to do!

And many a tiling WMs allow for custom layouts and moving windows about workspaces. Indeed, you have your work cut out for you.

Not to confuse you more, but awesome lets you do this as well. Just set your layout to be fullscreen instead of floating or tiling.

Any manual tiling wm would suit you. They don't split unless you say so. Ratpoison is a nice and simple wm that is entirely keyboard driven. Using uzbl, terminals and feh you almost never need to use the mouse. Exactly the setup I got.

xmonad also allows you to do fullscreen only if you so desire.

That about sums it up. There isn't any need to keep suggesting specific tiling window managers.
Cheers and good luck with the netbook!
