[solved]Dual monitors; my mouse can go below the bottom of one of them

I have two monitors, 1440x900 and 1280x1024 set up using nVidia's TwinView.  Everything works fine except my mouse can go beyond the bottom of my 1440x900 monitor.  Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening?

The relevant part of my xorg.conf:

Option "TwinView"
Option "SecondMonitorVertSync" "60"
Option "MetaModes" "1280x1024, 1440x900"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "LeftOf"

Thanks!

e:  Seems there's nothing I can do about it.

Its a side-effect of using Twinview, which basically creates a big screen, both your screens are placed on that big screen but there's obviously some dead area. I use separate-X servers myself, but as time goes by it seems the support for that in the DEs is getting worse and worse. You could try it though.

You could also try shifting your second monitor (the 1440x900) 'downwards' by 124 pixels. That would mean the mouse can go beyond the top rather than the bottom.

Nah, dead space at the bottom seems least annoying.

Thanks very much!
