open-vm-tools issues with VMware in Arch64?
Is anyone else having any issues with VMware Workstation 6.5 and open-vm-tools? I seem to have it installed properly, but my mouse isn't automatically disengaging or anything like it should. Do I need to edit my xorg.conf at all for them to be working properly?

Is there issue just with workstation or Server, Player too ? Dou you have issue with earlier vmware version ?

I am having this same issue. I have open-vm-tools installed and is starting up correctly, but the mouse feels sluggish, and I still have to hit a keyboard sequence to get out of the VM...
does it work better to install the tools from the "CD" ?
