MS MVPs are forced to learn a real language

Saw this link (via OSNews) and it's really funny:

Now, VB was a success, in terms of there being many developers. However, I think this guy is over-hyping it a little, making it sound as if it was the most influential language ever.

I think it was about time MS showed some balls and whipped the carpet from under VB devs. It was an annoying language. Let's remember, MS loves making money, so if it's killing off old VB compatibility, then there MUST be a very good reason!

They can't make money unless people upgrade and buy again/more.  They want to replace everything they've came up with in the past with .net and C#.  Hell even longhorn is being buit with the two.  Hm... I wonder if you will be able to run it on linux with mono...
