how to change to fallback kernel

ok so i was having a problem with my usb not working earlier, and i was very unsuccessful at fixing it!
but, when i booted into my fallback from grub, everything worked flawlessly,
so what is the different between the two version (fallback and regular) and how do i change my standard arch linux to mirror the fallback?

Re: how to change to fallback kernel

The difference is the initrd, the kernel is the very same vmlinuz26 that's part of the kernel26 package.
