Alsa Volume Problem

Hello all,

I'm having a problem with Alsa.  This is on a fresh installation.  This is how I installed it:

pacman -S alsa-utils
su - richie
alsamixer
(Unmuted everything.)
alsactl store
Added alsa to daemons.

I can hear things very slightly if I turn my speakers all the way up.  I've tried everything - adjusting things in alsamixer, adjusting things in Gnome Volume Control.  Nothing is working.  Did I do something wrong?

Re: Alsa Volume Problem

Your sound level is probably just set very low.

Try these commands:

amixer set Master unmute 80%
amixer set Front unmute 100%
amixer set Headphone unmute 100%

no place like /home
github
