If you are getting the following error on pacman -Syu
warning: gsfonts: local (8.11-5) is newer than extra (1.0.7pre44-1)Then just do a simple
pacman -S gsfontsand the newer package will be installed!
This is a consequence of an upstream change in version naming.
Hope this helps,
Fabio Varesano

Most would probably have gsfonts installed as a dependency, so should do
pacman -S --asdeps gsfontsinstead.
