Hello all,
This is a rather odd question, but I was wondering if anyone could explain why Thunar's root trash takes hours (I mean, literally, hours) to empty? And, when I empty it, CPU usage rockets up to nearly 100%? Is there a way to disable the use of "root trash?" I really, really loved Thunar until I found out about this today....now I have to wait for hours for my "root trash" to empty.
Also, where in the world are these files stored? I have a directory /root/local/share/.Trash, but this directory seems to have totally different files in it than the Thunar "root trash."
Is there a faster way to get rid of the trash (I mean I am talking, honestly, 10 hours -- at 100% CPU usage-- of emptying trash here...).
Thanks!
