Install the "Private messages" extension!

Wouldn't be wonderful to have private messages here? Instead of messing up with emails, it's the best solution, I think!

I would rather have the board keep the email system. It's just easier to have communication as central as possible.

the best solution would be to have a wave extension, i think!

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Unless it's optional on a per-user basis, I'm against having PMs here. Random users that I don't even know bothering me with "please help me with my clueless problem" messages will certainly be the result otherwise.

Seconded. It should also forward to the user's configured facebook and myspace accounts. If they don't have a facebook/myspace account the message should just not be allowed to go through, since they're obviously nazis/communists/terrorists with no place in modern networking-based societies smile.

Emails are good. What's the problem with using them?

I'm happy that this site uses E-mail instead of pm's, I think it's way better than all other forums.

Re: Install the "Private messages" extension!

I also wouldn't want pm instead of emails. It's just so much more convenient to have it all in one place (your email inbox) than having a separate pm-box on every forum.
Also I always forget to check the PM-Boxes and with email notification its just annoying having to go to the site to read the message or reply to it.
