Now it seems to work, And I have no made any change but downgrade the hsqldb to solve the error related to base, and upgrade several packages none openoffice related.

Hi.
It is failing again.
Seems to work with a new document, but if I open an existing .doc or .ods file (converted from a .doc), it fails again ...
Need to do more tests

this is caused by using our system redland library. a fix is available: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=108911
I'm still collecting more issues before I will think about a new release. Feel free to use the openoffice-base-beta pkg that should have the fix included.
