Power users

Hi,

It took me less than two months to become a Power User. And if I wasn't so addicted to Counter Strike, it could have happened in a week!

Power user, my arse! People may get the impression I'm knowledgable or something... It's time to raise the threshold, methinks. It should take at least a year I reckon, > 1000 posts.

Re: Power users

And I've been dying to be called 'Java God' ever since phrakture coined the phrase...

'Power User' should be changed to 'Power Poster'. wink

Re: Power users

I'm trying to get to 700 now.  Once I passed Apeiro's ~600, I felt like I actually earned the "Linux Addict" title.  Maybe they should change "Linux addict" to "Too Lazy 4 IRC"...

I would imagine anyone trying to setup Gentoo properly would have a post count of 5000+ or more...

I'm still under < 1000 posts here, so that implies Arch is easy to configure and I'm a freakin' genious requiring very little help...

What does that imply about those Archers over 1000?

muahahahaha...

no shiznet.

If I was a gentoo member my status would be 'tux's little helper'. I'd rather be 'Easter Bunny'

Gentoo's most active topics..check out #4 and #5:

Re: Power users

"Holy bat shiznitt, Robin".  Those are some serious "reply" counts in those topics.

I didn't read what's in 4 and 5, but saw the poll results.  That seems like a pretty typical sentiment amongst the Linux community.  That's why I enjoy it here in these Arch forums.  As far as I can tell, everyone here in Arch supports George Bush, loves American foreign policy, and considers themself a "dyed in the wool" social conservative Republican.  I feel right at home...

Really? I used to be a professional Chippendale dancer.  All of us guys backstage used to "convince" eachother that was indeed the case.  Yet somehow, I always seemed to be the only one who came back with a thong full of pennies...
