python-purple request

Hey, I've been trying to install python-purple

http://briglia.net/wiki/tiki-index.php? … rple+Howto

This is my attempt at a PKGBUILD

pkgname=python-purple
pkgver=1
pkgrel=0
pkgdesc='Python Implementation of libPurple'
url='http://vcs.maemo.org/svn/carman/'
license=('GPL3')

arch=('i686' 'x86_64')
source=('purple.pyx' 'setup.py' 'setup_dist.py' )

build(){
    cd ~/python-purple/carman/trunk/python-purple/

    cython purple.pyx -I libpurple/ || return 1
    python setup.py build || return 1
    python setup_dist.py build || return 1
    python setup.py install --root=/usr || return 1

}

Thanks in advance for any comments

Re: python-purple request

You need to use the recommended template for svn builds. Install abs and have a look at /usr/share/pacman/PKGBUILD-svn.proto. You should also use existing svn PKGBUILDs for guidance - there are plenty in the community repo and the AUR.
