Hello, recently I started to experience disconnects and no connectivity. ( A week ago everything was ago)
I have a direct connection to my on-board realtek network adapter(so no router problem), as I understand from the logs the problem is with dhcp.
Here is the log:
Mar 30 19:49:32 arch dhcpcd: version 5.2.1 starting
Mar 30 19:49:32 arch dhcpcd: eth0: rebinding lease of 84.240.52.219
Mar 30 19:49:42 arch dhcpcd: eth0: broadcasting for a lease
Mar 30 19:49:52 arch dhcpcd: eth0: offered 84.240.52.219 from 84.240.1.110
Mar 30 19:49:52 arch dhcpcd: eth0: ignoring offer of 84.240.52.219 from 84.240.1.11
Mar 30 19:49:52 arch dhcpcd: eth0: ignoring offer of 84.240.52.219 from 84.240.1.110
Mar 30 19:49:52 arch dhcpcd: eth0: ignoring offer of 84.240.52.219 from 84.240.1.11
Mar 30 19:50:02 arch dhcpcd: timed out
but most of the time only:
Mar 28 13:56:50 arch dhcpcd: version 5.2.1 starting
Mar 28 13:56:50 arch dhcpcd: eth0: rebinding lease of 84.240.52.219
Mar 28 13:57:00 arch dhcpcd: eth0: broadcasting for a lease
Mar 28 13:57:20 arch dhcpcd: timed out
Any ideas what is causing this and how to fix? On windows everything works fine.

Do you have your system updated?
I remember a bug with 'time out' in dhcpcd but it was fix.
You can try with dhclient instead.

My system is up to date Changing to dhclient not the best solution, I want to figure out why it does not work.

Install the package dhclient. And connect it like dhcpcd:
$ sudo dhclient eth0

So bad news then I also get timed out with dhclient....
