gutenberg/music -> rosegarden

now that we have rosegarden running in arch i want to take the next step:

importing music from gutenberg to rosegarden

http://www.gutenberg.org/music/
e.g.
http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/5189

is an musicXML file and rosegarden cannot open it :-(

funny is: rosegarden can export to musicXML but it cannot import :-(

what app do i need to make rosegarden eat musicXML?

Re: gutenberg/music -> rosegarden

you could write an xslt stylesheet, but this could be a lot work.

i didn't want to re-invent the wheel ;-)

musicXML and rosegarden are both XML formats ... so there must already exist something out there. it's new to me, so maybe i simply cannot find it.
