Handbrake problems

After the Gnome 2.30 update, when I start ghb, I get this in my shell:

** (ghb:3620): WARNING **: returning null (AudioTrack)

Doesn't seem to be able to identify any audio tracks.

However, if I use a pre-gnome 2.30 update Virtual machine, it works fine.

Update 1:
Both my 32bit and 64bit installs are affected.
Handbrake is not an app I use all the time and has been very stable up to now.
I will try the command line version tonight.

Update 2:
I compiled the latest SVN version from handbrake.fr and aur.  Both crash when encoding begins.

Re: Handbrake problems

I can confirm that behavior.  I haven't tried compiling from svn, though.

Also, downgrading glib2 (forced) and then whatever handbrake complained about when I tried to start it (glibmm, pango, gtk2, gvfs) fixed things if anyone's interested.  Luckily I don't actually use gnome...

Re: Handbrake problems

I'm suffering too, my handbrake cable snapped on my car last week, booked it in at garage, took it and they had ordered the wrong one, doh.  Still no handbrake.   <-- True Story smile

Re: Handbrake problems

Ack, this sucks... trying the svn now.

EDIT: works great with svn 3285.
