I can start xterm and vte from the lxde run menu.
I am using xf86_64.
This is the only information I can generate.
Hopefully the maintainer will catch this

What were the packages that were upgraded? Check in /var/log/pacman.log and if possible try reverting them back to older versions and see if you can single out the package causing the issue. ![]()

It looks like upgrading vte to 0.24.0-2 will fix this problem on x86_64. If this holds for i686 users I will request closure of the bug report.
