File Managers: Only first click works

Hi everyone,

my system used to run just fine but today a weird error occured: ALL file managers (PCManFM and Thunar, no others installed) do not work correctly anymore.

I start up the FM (via terminal or starters in the OB Menu or shortcuts in the panel) and (double) click some file or folder. Works just as usual: File or folder opens (or is being select when not double clicking). But from there on, all left clicks in the right part of the FM are disabled. I can't select/start/open any file or folder. Selecting items via keyboard (e.g. Ctrl+A) does not work either.
In the left part (file tree or shortcuts) the clicks work just fine. Right click works as well but is of no use since nothing can be selected.

This error occurs in PCManFM an Thunar alike. All users, including root, are affected.

Any ideas?
