Pacman: no network connection in gnome-terminal since update.

Since the upgrade to Gnome 2.30 I can not use any programs that require a network connection in gnome-terminal. The network works fine in Xterm and tty.

To get an internet connection I use networkmanager-pptp to connect to a VPN, and I have a proxy server set in gnome-network-properties.

weird, i am gonna look into this and inform you when i get some info. It seems like you have to edit gconf using gconf-editor.

You need to be more specific than 'can not use'.

When I do pacman -Syu the connection times out, and it works fine in xterm/tty. I have now tried wget and ftp as well, but they seem to connect fine.
