Hello all, for some reason the tab which allows you to switch sessions (GNOME, KDE, Xfce, etc.) is absent on my GDM. I understand with the new GDM it should be on the bottom bar, but it is not there. Only options are to change language and keyboard
for example:

The "Sessions" tab is just not there. I have GNOME and KDE installed and I cannot choose to log into KDE.
I tried re-installiing GDM but no luck. Let me know if you need more info. Any help is appreciated

i guess it's relatively simple to let the session tab appear
click on your user or change user or something like that. it should appear then

Thanks for your response, but that is not the issue I'm having. I wish it were that simple. Even after clicking on the user name, all that appears is a tab for "Language" and a tab for "Keyboard". No tab for "Session" appears. I would take a screenshot but not sure how to from the login screen.
I am using KDM now but would really prefere to use GDM.

works for me. the session tab is appearing only if you have more than 2 sessions available. for some reason gdm doesn't detect kde on your system. try to reinstall kdebase-workspace
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
