[Solved] Postfix mail stuck in queue

Hello, I followed the guide from http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PostFix_Tutorial

Everything seems fine, but when I send a test message, it seems to be stuck in the queue forever.

ls -la /var/spool/postfix/maildrop

total 16
drwx-wx---  2 postfix postdrop 4096 Apr  4 13:45 .
drwxr-xr-x 17 root    root     4096 Apr  4 13:41 ..
-rwxr--r--  1 root    postdrop  596 Apr  4 13:36 184233B96

please advice.

take a look at /var/log/mail.log (or /var/log/maillog), perhaps there is some information.

Thanks, finally worked out that variables don't work for some reason, such as this line.

alias_database = $alias_maps

needs to be

alias_database = hash:/etc/postfix/aliases
