Xiphos opens with nautilus, not sword modules

When I try to open xiphos, it does not open the needed/installed sword module(s).  It opens 15 nautilus windows.  I ran xiphos from the terminal, and it did not appear to give any errors in the terminal itself.  So I compiled xiphos with --enable-debug for more info.  When I run xiphos now, it displays the following (hopefully helpful information) in the terminal:

$ xiphos

I have tried removing the ~/.xiphos and ~/.sword folders and running xiphos again with no success.  I even reimaged a test machine with archlinux (with the testing and standard package repositories) and tried xiphos again with no success.  The Module Manager shows my "Personal area" (Sword Install Destination) as /home/%user%/.sword (correct location).  Is sword working for anyone else on xiphos or a different frontend?  Should I be working with the xiphos team or the sword team to resolve this, or is it something on the archlinux side?  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated?

Re: Xiphos opens with nautilus, not sword modules

Xiphos is not working for me at all on my recent install; the app opens, and when I click "Connect" to connect to the FTP repo to install modules, the connection bar fills all the way across and then the program segfaults.  The only messages I get in the terminal are these:

Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_drawable_get_screen: assertion `GDK_IS_DRAWABLE (drawable)' failed

I am also experiencing this problem. I had the same issue as TripleE, so I removed it from my system along with the dotfiles and dependencies and reinstalled. Now when I start it and invoke the module manager, I get an error similar to bachismyhero's:

Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_set_cursor: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

Exactly the same problem here. After updating my Arch today, Xiphos loads 15 instances of nautilus on start up, no modules. If I try to use module manager the program crashes sad

Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_set_cursor: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed

Hi wesley. Was thinking of filing a bug report too, but I have no idea what the error means so not sure where to file it. Should we report this to the Xiphos developers, or is it more likely to be an Arch issue? Unfortunately I hadn't updated my Arch for a while and there were a lot of changes, so no idea what caused this problem.

Xiphos still broken for me. Has anyone found a fix or know if a bug report has been filed anywhere? I can't find any info on this anywhere ... sad

Re: Xiphos opens with nautilus, not sword modules

I have filed a bug report here: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/18473?project=5
Would be grateful if others still encountering problems would confirm bug.

Thanks,
green.

Re: Xiphos opens with nautilus, not sword modules

I have just downloaded community-testing/xiphos 3.1.3-2.  The Module Manger still will not work, but everything else that I have tested appears to work.
NOTE: Using x86_64.

I have done the same also using the x86_64 flavor. I installed the modules manually following these instructions from an email off the bug tracker:

You can manually download and install additional modules by following the linka here: http://xiphos.org/links/. Just download modules (raw zips) to your ~/.sword folder and then run:

cd ~/.sword
unzip ModuleFileName.zip

As TripleE mentions everything appears to work.
