Found this thread in the newbie section and also seen that the driver was origianly pulled due to fan issues.
not shure if the currrent driver is the flawwed one or a patched one but after installing my machine would not boot and I had to
us a cd to chroot in then roll back the package.

my system is similar I have two gt6800 nvidia cards configured connected by an SLI bridge but not currently configured in XORG as SLI
the MB is a nforce790i extream chipset USB keyboard , mouse and wacom pad with one display attached.
