Tuxonice hibernates for split second

I have installed the tuxonice kernel from aur and set everything up. However when I run hibernate-script it hibernates for a brief second. My screen turns off and everything but then it automatically resumes. Running the 'hibernate -v3" command shows that all the commands execute properly however right after the "Activating TuxOnIce..." line the resume code executes. What could be causing this ?

Upon closer inspection of my logs I'm getting a message from TuxOnIce:

Can't translate "/dev/hda2" into a device id yet.

How do I fix this error?
