[2010-04-02 08:47] upgraded gtk2 (2.18.9-2 -> 2.20.0-1)...well...it's best if you see:
[EDIT]: Just downgraded, that didn't fix the problem...moving this to the newbie corner would be highly appreciated unless this is an upgrade problem.

Whatever has changed, I have the same problem, and I am a Debian Unstable user. I only noticed the break today, it's possible that whatever package has been upgraded is already out of my /var/cache/apt/archives folder... but, I am reading that there were updates to:
libgtk2.0-0_2.20.0-2_i386.deb
libgtk2.0-bin_2.20.0-2_all.deb
libgtk2.0-common_2.20.0-2_all.deb
gtk2-engines-pixbuf_2.20.0-2_i386.deb
... some other packages
When this issue is explained, someone post a solution please! Xpad is the most useful app on my computer until it fails to display ![]()

I'm guessing mine failed as well, was a useful app though.
