Anyone one seen a similar message before?

Once the errors occur, they rapidly fill up my /var (glad it's a separate partition).
Most search results give me "you have a bad drive", but I running this as a VM in VirtualBox. I once I reboot the machine the error will go away for some period of time, recently a good week in between. This only happens on the /dev/sdd drive, which is a separate virtual disk.
So, anyone had issues with VirtualBox and Arch?
I want to blame it on VB, maybe the virtual SATA controller? But I'm also using JFS for the first time.
I tried running without snapshots but eventually got the same errors.
I may create a new virtual disk and move the data over...
Thanks for any help.

Sorry I can't help you, but you should change the thread title to sth like "Random I/O Errors in VirtualBox".

Might be too soon to tell, but looks like turning of the scheduled defrags on the host.
Hardware failure made me build on my Win7 box, hopefully for now this will fix my issue until I can build a new host machine.
