<SOLVED> openbox crashes on certain programs

I am running openbox as my desktop enviornment on my macbook. Arch Linux 64 OS.

When I try to boot up either eboard or scid (only 2 I've had problems with so far) it starts to bring them up but then openbox dissapears and I see the terminal asking me to login for a second before it goes to my openbox login screen. Anyone know why this would happen?

My only guess is to check your gtk version. Maybe you should run an update?
but no, I don't actually know why this would happen...

Try starting either program from a terminal to see what errors, if any, are generated.

Also look at strace http://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/strace/

Arch + dwm   •   Mercurial repos  •   Surfraw

Thanks for the help guys. I caught a glimse of something about gtk in the terminal and went and looked at that. Seemed fine but when I changed my openbox theme it works again. Not a great theme anyway so it's no loss.
