Openbox Window-Background colour theme

Hello all,

I realise that this is probably a very easy thing for anyone who knows but my googling hasn't answered my question and I'm snowed under with work so..............

How do I get rid of the GOD AWFUL colour scheme in openbox, the kind that paints my windows bizarre shades of what can only be described as miserable-green.
I've tried changing "theme" several times and using "obconf" and "obtheme". No luck.

Any help much appreciated to get back to my minimal WM as I am stuck in KDE4 hell right now with 100% load...fantastic...

Mike.

EDIT: Also, while I'm here (sorry to be a pain) but my panel doesn't always open, anyone got any insight? Heres my .xinitrc:

exec /usr/local/bin/fishclock &
exec /usr/local/bin/bubblemon &
exec xscreensaver -nosplash &
exec xbindkeys &
exec conky &
wmsetbg -S -s background.jpg &
exec pypanel &
exec bbdock &
exec ck-launch-session openbox-session

(running latest arch on x86_64 with nvidia drivers and testing repo btw)

Re: Openbox Window-Background colour theme

Are you talking about the window decoration or the inside of the window?

The inside of windows, as in, where you type the URL in firefox or for instance, the very box I reply to you in now. Pretty much everything by the looks-of-things though.

Re: Openbox Window-Background colour theme

You either mean the GTK theme, (I recommend LXappearance for GTK theme management) or your nvidia driver is screwing the colours up for you.
