I have been using blueman+pulse to get a bluetooth headset working, which has been a great combination but now with 2.6.33 it doesn't work with any of my two Arch boxes and crashes pulseaudio in /var/log/everything.log it says

Sorry, been using 2.6.33 for ages now and my BT headset works.

are you using pulseaudi and/or blueman?

It seems it fixed itself on my main system, got some problems on the laptop still but that might have todo with my stupidity in switching from KDEmod to Xfce which is now run directly with startx... and it seems it's important when using my blueman+pulse combination to NOT use padevchooser to select the headset.

There's a few things here, one is you probably need ck-launch, since pulseaudio depends on consolekit running.
Secondly, padevchooser is deprecated (read, avoid under all circumstances) upstream. Use pavucontrol instead.
