NSS Filesystem

I need to read data from one hard disk. I've discovered that there's Novell Storage Services (NSS) file system. But I don't have NetWare or Open Enterprise Server.
Is there any possibility to read the HDD in Linux ? (I try to google it but no required results.)

Re: NSS Filesystem

The NSS wikipedia entry says that it was ported to SuSe Linux although it isn't clear if this means OpenSuse or SLES (enterprise Suse). The easiest thing to do would probably download the trial of Open Enterprise Server.

If you don't want to format a new disk to install the trial, you could install it in a Virtual Machine. Virtualbox allows you to connect whole disks to it as well as virtual images so you could use this to connect the existing drive to the VM smile

Re: NSS Filesystem

The trial of OES seems to be a good idea. I'll try it.
Thanks
