[SOLVED] Blinking LED - iwl3945

Hi,

the problem was reported before here: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=74269. I managed to solve it with this: " echo none > echo none > /sys/class/leds/iwl-phy0::*/trigger" but after today's update and a reboot the iwl-phy0::* directories disappeared from /sys/class/leds/ so the led started blinking again while receiving or transmitting data.

Is there another solution?

Are you running kernel 2.6.33? Then you can add

options iwlcore led_mode=1

to your /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.

See http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/g … 97f356b3f5.

Thanks. I didn't know they added this option to the module.

Do you know if there's a way to turn off the LED completely?
