Hi, I'm a student at UiB in Norway. I'm trying to connect to eduroam at school. The problem is that the connection is never made. I followed the instructions on this page.
http://www.eduroam.uib.no/user/linuxwpa.html
I don't understand how that can work without a certificate. But still, I have use the certificate it still won't work. The network works, I know that. So I'm wondering if this could be a problem with the driver ath9k.

We need more than "just won't work" and "connection is never made". Examine wpa_supplicant's output by either running it in the foreground or directing the output to a log file - the man page will tell you how. Paste the log here if you're having difficulty deciphering it yourself.

I know. I'll post debug output from wpa_supplicant when I'm at school tomorrow.

It's not just me apparently who is having some problems. Pptp will have to do for now.

ca_cert="/etc/ssl/certs/GTE_CyberTrust_Global_Root.pem"
