Hello,
I have 2 monitors connected all the time (laptop 15,4" + Compaq 15" from the stoneage), using Twinview. Now, when I start tuxguitar, the java virtual machine doesn't see them as separate monitors, but as one 2304x800, which makes the editing area almost twice as wide as my main monitor... Without the compaq connected, it fits my screen.
So, I was wondering if someone knows of a way to tell the java vm that my screen is 1200px wide instead of 2304?

If tuxguitar is not xinerama-compatible (most apps are nowadays) you may want to start it in a separate X-server.

Well... My guess is that the problem is with the Java Virtual Machine. I suppose that you use the package openjdk to provide yourself with the virtual machine. Why don't you try to install jre from community?

Didn't help. Guess I'll just have to live with having to scroll back and forth. Starting a separate x-server is a bit over the top since I don't use tuxguitar that much these days... It sure beats guitar pro through wine though ![]()
Maybe I should try some other java programs and see if they're affected, then I'll at least know if it's a tuxguitar specific problem or not.
