Hello,
I am requesting package adanaxis-gpl for Arch Linux. I was able to compile (with the included patches) and run it under Arch. I just don't know to make a package properly, this would be a good example for me to learn. Thanks
Package dependencies :
gcc-c++
libxxf86misc
libxxf86vm
mesa
freeglut
pcre
expat
giflib
libtiff
sdl
sdl_mixer
alsa-lib
esound
smpeg
libogg
libvorbis
Source :

Required Patched to Compile :
http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/ma … ian.tar.gz
Requires all 4 patches under /debian/patches/ to compile and fix minor issues. Seems to compile fine through the simple configure, make, make instlall (I did fakeroot install and it still worked), but I don't know if I need to add arguments to get a normal directory structure, not /usr/share/local directory.
The -debian.tar.gz file might have extra information on how to compile it properly to get proper directories and such. The official website does not host the gpl version, only a demo of his payware version that includes proprietary animations and sounds. GPL version has those removed.
Thanks for the help and support !

I've created a package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=36573
It includes all the required patches and installs stuff to the "correct" directories, not /usr/share/local.

P.S: Tested on i686 only.

Confirmed and working on i686, thanks very much. Now I can learn from this PKGBUILD so I can make my own ! In theory, it should work on AMD64 aswell, since the folks at debian got it to compile on every architecture known to mankind.
