Problem with USB Mouse plugin / plugout.

Hello.

I lately experienced a problem with my USB Mouse. If i plug out the mouse, and plug it in again, the mouse device is changing from /dev/input/mouse1 to /dev/input/mouse2. This stops the mouse working in X. Then i have to try it some times agian, until it works, what actually is quite annoying.

Is there any way to ensure the mouse uses the same device again?

Use /dev/input/mice, that is the common device for all mice big_smile
