[solved] how to show a directory in the kde4 desktop?

I was using kdemod, and switched to the archlinux regular kde4...

I have a directory with .desktop files of my child games/apps... so using that it was an easy way to show them as icon launchers....

But I can not find the plasmoid to show a directory in the desktop...
How can I do that?

It's called the Folder View plasmoid.

Do you have kdebase-plasma installed?

It should give you folderview plasmoid and desktop activity, which can show any folder you like.
