(SOLVED) VLC wont play m4p

I have an mp4 video...and it looks like it is unsupported in vlc...

anyone got a fix?

RTFM!

MP4 is a container, you can put almost anything inside it, and tag it in a magnitude of different manners so saying that vlc dont play mp4 is the same as saying "my movie player dont play movies"...

I have determined that the file I was trying to play was corrupt....
